Jeddah Book Fair 2022
The Jeddah International Book Fair 2022 will be launched on the 8th of next December, and will last for 10 days, under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and the Literature, Publishing & Translation Commission.
The Jeddah International Book Fair is a cultural window that brings together readers, enthusiasts and specialists in literature, publishing and translation from local and international institutions and companies, in light of the Ministry of Culture’s objectives to make culture an essential component of our lifestyle, support economic growth, and strengthen the Kingdom’s position internationally. Along with promoting the book industry and encouraging its rapid growth, it also aims to improve the impact of reading and its role in raising awareness, the sustainability of the publishing industry, and the empowerment and cooperation with publishers.
The Jeddah International Book Fair is the third international book fair to be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this year, as part of the “Book Fairs” initiative, and it is one of the strategic initiatives of the Literature, Publishing & Translation Commission.

Events
The Cultural Program
The Jeddah International Book Fair hosts a verity of activities and events, such as lectures, cultural workshops, seminars, poetry evenings, and theater performances.
Child's Pavilion
The pavilion includes educational and training activities, that were prepared with the help of a group of experts in the field of child culture, promote their growth and develop their skills within an entertaining and educational framework.
Workshops
The workshops cover a wide range of subjects and fields. They are designed to give participants the chance to learn about writing, reading and art, in order to increase awareness and develop talents.
Dialogue Seminars and Cultural Events
A platform is designed for dialogues, exchange of ideas, and discussions of different opinions and cultures that enrich cultural life, and aid in enlightening the audience with new perspectives. A number of seminars and meetings are organized by the exhibition, in which a group of experts and intellectuals take part in.
Poetry Evenings
A literary arena for showcasing the Arab poetic talent in accordance with its various art forms; the new Souk Okaz is where an elite group of Arab poets from different generations and nations gather to present their poetry.
Theatrical Performances
High-end arts and unique theatrical productions with rich content that benefit both the audience and the talented young people who are fans of this ancient art.

Book Fair Information
About 600 local, Arab and international publishing houses will take part in the exhibition, in addition to its comprehensive cultural programs. It consists of a variety of events and activities, including, cultural workshops, and seminars, with the participation of a group of experts and intellectuals. In addition to poetry evenings, theatrical performances, and educational and training activities for children.
